The Shyft Group required a 50,000 SF facility with supporting outdoor vehicle chassis storage to support an upfitting contract. Limited facilities with excess land were available and in high demand. Additionally, municipality restrictions on land usage created additional challenges to the site selection process.

Advocate identified a spec building that was nearing construction and negotiated above standard improvements to surrounding excess land as well as worked with the developer to finalize the building with specific building improvements unique to the upfitting process.

Building and site improvements were completed simultaneously with finalizing the lease agreement to maintain adherence to an extremely tight production schedule.
